Ninth cohort of DLTI begins

IMG_3022DLTI’s ninth cohort’s first residential retreat week unfolded at Camp Isabella Freedman/Hazon (Falls Village, CT) during the first week of August with a record international enrollment of 64 rabbis, cantors, rabbinic pastors, ALEPH Ordination students and lay leaders, touching the entire denominational spectrum of Jewish life. What a big tent!

The Davvenen’ Leadership Training Institute (DLTI), an intensive adult experiential learning program, trains Jewish clergy and lay leaders to deepen and revitalize Jewish prayer so that it activates the body, touches the heart, engages the mind and nourishes spiritual growth.

IMG_3040During two years of residential retreats, DLTI prayer leaders become an empowered living-learning fellowship in which they create new pathways for making Jewish prayer come alive in dynamic prayerful Jewish communities.

Now beginning its ninth two-year learning cohort, DLTI has trained over 500 rabbis, cantors, educators, students and lay leaders from across the world and touching all Jewish denominations.
