Ritualwell, one of the internet’s foremost resource sites for creative and renewed Jewish ritual, is kicking off a series of projects this spring under the umbrella #ReimagineRitual. The first of these projects centers around the lifecycle milestone of b’nai mitzvah.

As they approach each lifecycle ritual or liturgical moment, they share a blog post on that subject, then host a Twitter chat on the subject, then share another blog post, and the process culminates in a piece of new liturgy or ritual which they have commissioned. The first piece of new liturgy they have commissioned is a set of prayers for b’nai mitzvah written by ALEPH Co-Chair Rabbi Rachel Barenblat.
