Jewish Renewal story featured as new platform FOLD debuts

ALEPH co-chair Rabbi Rachel Barenblat was one of the beta-testers of FOLD, a new storytelling platform which specializes in allowing writers to contextualize narrative with images, audio, video, and more. (Read more about it: About – FOLD.)

FOLD was created at the Center for Civic Media at MIT, and allows for a new mode of storytelling.  Instead of featuring blocks of text with hyperlinks in them (as ordinary blog posts do), FOLD makes it possible for authors to share context alongside core narrative.

In Rabbi Rachel’s story How I Found Jewish Renewal And Why I Stayed, her story of finding Jewish Renewal is contextualized with photographs, video, audio, and text citations.
