If you are attending the 2013 Kallah, and if you’re participating in the class Rabbi Elisheva Brenner is teaching on Eco Judaism, you might also want to consider having lunch at the Lunch & Learn program at Kallah, Thursday at 12:30pm in the large dining room. Likewise, if you are not enrolled in Rabbi Brenner’s class, you may wish to get a taste of Eco-Judaism along with lunch, to increase the diversity of your Kallah learning experiences.

At our new Lunch & Learn program, Andrea Cohen-Kiener will lead a discussion on Eco Judaism:  How can mitzvot and a Torah perspective help us respond responsibly to the eco-crises of our time? What is the growing edge of a kashrut, a true sense of appropriate consumption? Come add to our questions and insights at this table talk with Rabbi Andrea.
