Everyone who has a “rebbe” thinks that their rabbi is the most inspiring teacher, rabbi , person in the world. And they are right. Inspiration is in the heart of the inspired. But people love to compare and make lists. So, to stand alongside The Daily Beast’s list of America’s Top Rabbis, Forward has put out a list of America’s Most Inspiring Rabbis.

Whether or not your favorite rabbi is there, we can all be proud that two of our Renewal rabbis,

Rabbi Sunny Schnitzer of Bethesda Jewish Congregation, Maryland,

and Rabbi Jonathan Omer-Man, in private practice in California,

both made the list. As a community, we get to kvell a little bit over the kvod these two dedicated rabbis received. And thank the Source of All Inspiration, for all the sources of inspiration in our lives.
