Each quarter, Kol ALEPH with feature a different visual artist. This winter we look at the Judaic illuminations of Jackie Olenick.
I work in several mediums including acrylic and watercolor, as well as collage/multi media, for which I am noted. I have created bold and bright, large pieces that are appropriate for a Temple or can serve as a focal point in your home. I also have created dozens of smaller, affordable images so that everyone can have access to beautiful Judaic artwork.
Rabbi Zalman Schachter-Shalomi has honored me as an Artist and Artisan in the Sacred Guild of the Disciples of Betzalel. The Reform Movement has selected several of my images for book, CD and songbook covers. Many images adorn greeting cards which can be purchased at fine gift and Judaica shops throughout America. I am also a proud lifetime member of Hadassah and I was recently honored at the ALEPH Kallah as an “Eishet Chazan”, a Woman of Vision. I am also a proud member of the American Guild of Judaic Artists.
Any work you purchase from Jackie will support ALEPH, so please mention you saw her work here.
